@Amber- Why were the Jews targeted in the Holocaust and was it only the Jews?

They were targeted because Hitler blamed them for Germany's economic depression. The Jews were scapegoats and were used by Hitler to find success and power in Germany.

The Jews were targeted because the German people needed a scapegoat for their economic problems. They blamed the Jewish people for stealing their business with department stores. Stereotypes that made Jews seem cheap, sneaky, and underhanded spread to the hearts of many people. Hitler increased the intensity of these feelings by building up the German egos and making them think that any other race was inferior and would weaken them.

The Holocaust began in 1933 as Hitler was elected chancellor, and later on president in 1934. The root of his plan began in his time in prison when he wrote "Mein Kampf", a book telling of his plans for the creation of the Nazi party and world domination.

Amber, Jews were targeted because the Germans blamed them for Germany's difficulties. Not only were Jews targeted, but so were the handicapped, homosexuals, and pretty much anyone else who Hitler did not approve of.
